Wildlife

As one would expect, the Rocky Mountains are abundant with wildlife. Deer, Elk, fox and hawks are seen regularly, while rabbits and eagles are seen less often. Glimpses of bears, mountain lions and moose are rare. Porcupines and raccoons are so abundant that drivers frequently have to swerve to avoid hitting them.

This fox was out for an afternoon late summer hunt.
